I finally received my download link cards from Penguin.

The lecture is nearly 5 hours long! Time flies when you're having fun!

The normal price is $29.95, but I'm selling them here for $19.95.

To speed up the process, I can send you the link code so that you  won't have to wait for the card to arrive in the mail. You'd go to the Penguin site and put in the code for the download.

My paypal is mpowers@mallofmagic.com - you can also contact me with any questions at that address.

Hi Mike,

I would love to get your lecture.  I'm not sure I understand how it works.  Do we purchase from you, or on Penguin's site?  I'll send Paypal funds as soon as I know how to go about this.  If there's a code I need, please send that.

Thanks!
Ken

I purchased this from Mike yesterday.  Have only watched about a third of it so far, but it's a great lecture!  Fabulous routines, very well explained.  Really enjoying it so far!

Arthur

P.S.  Amazer:  Contact Mike and purchase from him directly.  He'll explain how to get the deal from Penguin.

Thanks for the good press guys!

I have sent codes to all who purchased the lecture.

One of the emails bounced. It was to help@i-magicnation.com

If anyone knows who this is, let me know so I can get a valid email address.

Thanks!

Hey Mike, your punching and moving holes on a business card (don’t know the title of the effect) is simply brilliant!

Now THAT’S how to hand out a business card!

I highly recommend Mike’s Penguin lecture to everybody.

Many thanks Arthur! Dan Garrett was also helping to promote Business Card Terror. It's very strong and a great way to hand out a business card.

Thanks!

So far I have managed to only get through the first set, and wow! Lot's of great stuff already. If the rest of the lecture holds up to the same standard (and I have no doubt it will) then this is a real bargain. The opening card trick, attributed to Cameron Francis and published in Mike's column, is killer. Seriously. You'll use it. Or at least I will.

Thanks, Mike!

Anthony -

You're right about the Cameron Francis trick. It's one of his best I think. It was a big hit in the Card Corner column too.

Payment made.

The only problem was I don't know if you realize Canadians like Robin Dawes and me had to pay in Canadian $. While I realize you may not recognize this particular image of the Monarch this currency is legal tender.

For security purposes I took a picture of the converted transaction based on the current exchange rate. A armoured truck will make the delivery shortly, please advise once received.

Hi Wayne,

The armoured (your spelling!) truck arrived this AM. It took about 30 minutes to unload the cash and bring it into my living room. I've taken one load to the bank for conversion. I plan to take a load each day for about a week until it has all been converted. Unfortunately it's costing me about $20/load in conversion fees, so I'm losing money.

No problem with the money loss, though. Just want you guys to be happy!

Yes the Queen makes us use all those superfluous "U"s and of course Zed instead of Zee.

Thanks for the special offer on the lecture and I look forward to making my way through it.

The first time I was asked about Y-Y-Zed by Rush, I thought, what, did I miss a song somewhere?? That's not possible! I have all of their albums! Boy, was I embarrassed... [wink]

Hi Mike

I'm working on the amazing trick you taught towards the end of the lecture, where you talk about the jokers being the fastest cards in the deck - it's fantastic. I'm not sure you give this trick a name, and I'd like to use its proper name in my personal database of super-strong material.  Can you tell me the name of this effect?

Thanks

Robin

PS:  If anyone is still on the fence about buying this lecture, jump down on the "Yes" side!  Mike teaches great magic for almost 5 hours!

In Canada, the alphabet song goes like this:

"A Bed Ced Ded Ed F Ged,
 H I J K,
 L M N O Ped,
 Q R S Ted U and Ved,
 W X Y and Zed,
Now I know my A Bed Ced,
Next time won't you sing with med ?"

Hi Robin,

I think you must be referring to "Double Decker Sandwich" from Power Plays (p. 161). The ending really does get a great reaction. The transpo seems utterly impossible. Moments when the spectators see the ending coming and then it's not what they expected are very powerful.

Thanks!

I'm a huge fan of "but that card was already on the table when the selection was made" effects and this one is so clean!  I also really like the Marlo Bluff Sandwich Force that you teach in this segment of the lecture.
