Despite Technical difficulties, the lecture went on for the promised 3 hours.
I know some people missed some material and we'll have to see what was actually recorded.
Whatever was recorded will be made available to the members.

However-- I am making the offer right now to LECTURE AGAIN once we, as a group, master this technology.  So if people are interested, there will be another chance.  And yes, I'll bring new material.

Yes we are very interested in that second lecture! Thank you very much Steve for all your effort!

And Thanks Rudy to you too!

I am one of those who missed most of the second part but I am eagerly awaiting for the links for the recordings.

Thanks again!

And now go and have some rest and maybe a coffee or a beer, more than deserved!

I missed the second part too. The first part was good, a little blurry, but good.

The lecture was a great success. Steve shared some really nice ideas, tricks, and tips. He was awesome, and I am looking forward to his next lecture.

Great Job Steve, you did awesome.

Best,
Trini

Steven,

A million thanks... I was there for the entire three hours.

The material was tremendous and open to a multitude of applications. That was me who gasped when you explained the final peek. Like so much of what you shared today, the move was streamlined, wickedly deceptive and more reliant on timing than dexterity.

The conference technology is limited and janky to say the least. I had to smile as Rudy wandered--lost in midtown Manhattan--trying to reassemble the Google Hangout on his phone after a crucial telecommunications satellite was dinged by a meteor.

I look forward to reviewing the recording AND would plan to be front and center for the next episode.

Yes,  thanks to all for the time and effort.  I only got to see the first part, a number of tries,  but couldn't get back on.  Definitely interested in another lecture.

It was a great lecture.   One thing is for sure, Steven thinks through all the details of the material he presents.  I am lucky enough to have a couple of the DVD's that contain in depth videos on some of the material and they are great.   As are his Weapons of Mass Destruction and Weapons of Mass Deception.  I had to drop off at about 6:15 PM CST but you really need to his Top Change in clear video.   It is a sight to behold (or to not behold as is the case).

Steven, we can test out zoom.us and see how that works.   The quality is generally pretty good even for large groups.

Thanks Everyone!!

If necessary, I can work with someone on a better video venue.

I'll cover the expense.

Right now it's 50 bucks a month. You get what you pay for.

I don't want these gatherings to be frustrating. I want these online sessions to be one of the highlights of the Magician's Forum.

Maybe I just need someone more technically savvy to help me make this a top notch experience for everyone.

Thanks again, Steven. Just watching you get into the Hacker Stack and demonstrating that "Plus One" effect was worth enduring the technical difficulties.

Rudy

I'll check around and see if there's a better meeting type software that's free or close to.  I know Skype can do it, but I dunno much about it.  Is gotomeeting.com still around?

Hey Guys,

Here's the info for Cisco Webex.

https://www.webex.com/pricing/?TrackID=1032166&hbxref=&TrackID=1032166&goid=pricing

It would be helpful if Rudy worked with 3-4 folks here as a team to perhaps work on these technical challenges on the side (happy to be in that group), so we can divide and conquer.  Considering all that Rudy is doing for this forum, I think with a couple folks we could find a viable solution.

I use Webex and Join.me, along with Google Hangouts at work.   I've also been on Blue Jeans (https://bluejeans.com/plans) and Biba (https://www.biba.com/plans--pricing.html).  Both Biba and Join.me though, seem cost prohibitive.

Thank you STEVE for the lecture!  Although I only caught the first half, there were several items I will have to make note of and add to my small arsenal.  I knew almost nothing about Peeks, so thank you for such an amazing Peek.

Happy to help out any way I can, as I think we have a good thing going here, so please let me know.  Even Steve Jobs had technical issues each year he had the large Apple product press releases.  The devil is in the details.

Thank you all, and thank you again Steven for taking time out to share your insights and knowledge with everyone.

I had trouble getting on, but once I did I was able to stay on. Video quality and sound could use some improvement, and I'm confident this will be resolved. Steven did a first rate job, offering many golden nuggets to the participants. My thanks to him and Rudy for making this happen.

Thanks again Steven for all the free golden chicken goujons (the info you gave was more than a nugget worth) even trying to figure out a left handed alternative peek for the other 12.5% or so of the world that get a blank deck when they do a regular pressure fan

I managed to sneak in for the second part of the lecture but I had no mic to ask if you could go back over the ireland shuffle work, i only caught the very tail end and then had to leave at the end of the pass work but what I did see was enlightening.

Thanks once again Steven,
Ethan

I missed the first half and tried to get in during the 2nd half, but could not. I was able to see a replay of the first half and I'm grateful for that. It would be great if the whole thing was accessible as Rudy was hoping to do. In any event, I am still happy to get any free quality instruction.

Thanks Steve and Rudy.

Thank You Steven for sharing! I am working on several of the the tips you shared now. I have your lecture notes and some videos. Great to be reminded how much great stuff is in there.

Also thanks to Rudy for setting this up.

Hopefully there will be a recording and maybe a new lecture :-)

I recommend Zoom for hosting the lecture. The basic version is free. Not sure how many viewers you can have for free but it is worth checking out.

I am looking forward to see what was recorded. I did not watch the lecture but I have aquired quite a lot of Stevens material directly from him or from his old forum site and there is a lot to digest.
Great stuff!
