Hey Everyone,

My names Jamie, I've loved magic since I was little. Studied on and off over the years but never really got a solid foundation which I believe I need.

My plan is to work through Harry's Books, 'The Magic Book' & then onto C-UCM.

I find Royal Road a difficult read & Card College to text book like for me to properly enjoy, (just my opinion) Harry's writing style is excellent for me!

Thnaks for this great forum, I've been reading lots of valuable advice from great people.

Cheers

Jamie

Thanks for your reply Harry, its a great honour to be able to converse with you.

I have bought 'The Magic Book' first edition hardback , I'm funny like that. I intend to place an order with you when I'm paid and request it signed if it would be okay. All the way across to North Ireland.

I firmly believe in your wise words about leaning sleights you will use and not waste time mastering stuff you won't use, so I thank you for that.

I understand the trouble you were having with trolls at the "Tragic Café", I'm glad you've got a place where trolls are dealt with properly.

Cheers

Jamie

Welcome! I concur; Harry's books will give you a not only a solid foundation, but an entire house of card magic and beyond. I consider the Card College series to be excellent references  - Don't overlook them as they can supplement anything you might be studying related to cards.

Cheers Anthony, I have CC volume 1 which I use for reference at times, highlighted certain information etc. I may get volume 2 further down the line.

Reading Harry's material feels like he's coaching me personally, helps me a lot.

I was looking at buying The Card Magic Of Lepaul, but I think I've enough books here for the moment to not overwhelm myself. Besides that it may be too advanced for me

Thanks

Jamie

You can make a nice living just by learning the material in Harry's books.
If you don't believe me, look what it's done for him.
