Rudy, both the original and the "Not So" variation from Ed Marlo are great.  I also like the added ideas that you suggested.  You should give them a test run and report back on the reactions.

Rudy,

             Playing around with this I noticed once you get the key number you have to add one to it to get the exact  number the card is from the top, otherwise you're one off.

     I stick to my original - no faros - difficult for me to do perfect faros because of two things - 1) I use borrowed decks only which are not usually suited for perfect faros, and 2) my arthritic fingers make it painful!!
