John Bannon has just put a new trick on the market as of November 1st called "Paint it Blank". Very nice routining.

A couple of related ideas can be found in "OOPS Just Cards" if you have it, check out "Captured Signature" on p.74 and "The Imaginary Card" on p.80. These had appeared in my "OOPS" e-booklet series before being compiled into my 2016 compilation.

The ideas share the same source material. Also related would be the DVD "The 52 vs The Joker Project" by Gary Jones and Chris Congreave which details several routines with the basic mechanics (and is currently on sale at Penguin Magic. http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S12913

Yes, it is. Under a different name, naturally, but still there. ANother case of something buried in print. I thought the idea was cool when I initially read it, but didn't have the required gaff, so never gave it a whirl.

First time I saw someone doing equivoque with a full deck it was Eugene Burger. He used to do it in his lecture.

I noticed the Bannon routine I started the thread with is pretty similar to David Solomon's Blank Thought in "The Wisdom of Solomon". Of course, they do session together 😉

I think the  trick is really good. I wouldnt spend twenty dollars on one trick, though.

Some will, and if they use it a lot it's worth it. But as AV said, it's in one of John's books anyway, which just further proves books are always the better value 😉

By the way, if you click on the Penguin link to the DVD of Jones and Congreave one of their applications is demonstrated, a very well structured card under case routine. I recall using that a few times 😉
