I was invited to check-out a private magic collection today. I captured it on my Instagram Story. I think you’ll find it interesting. Some highlights: Original Houdini illusions, a couple things from David Copperfield, Penn & Teller, Carter, Virgil, and more.

Very cool! I saw the clocks in the picture. Do you know whose those were? Any time you can touch magic history it is a moment to be relished. Congrats.

The clocks were Houdini’s and it was the last illusion that he performed.

This is Klosterman’s 2nd location, where he stores his larger illusions. His original collection is still in an abandoned mine shaft underneath his home.

I was wondering if it was him. I read an article years ago in Genii, I think, that talked about his collection.

Ryan, the private magic collection sounds fascinating.

But is there any way you could share this story with all TMF members?  (Not everybody has Instagram).

I’ll look into that. For now, I added the tour to my Highlights in Instagram. Simply click: The Mill Tour
