Man. I agree, Luis, it's been a tough run. It hasn't yet made the mainstream news or I'd post an obit. Av

I had the fortune to have seen him and Pam on several occasions, as well as on TV. A great loss to the magic community http://www.tomsoni.com/

Fantastic magician and entertainer! Like ChefDon, I had the great privilege of seeing him and Pam perform. He will be missed...

It's great that he was able to see his life's work published and receive accolades. Johnny and Pam were honored at the IBM convention in San Antonio a couple of years ago. I have had the good fortune to see them many times over the years. The act never grew stale. I loved it every time. "I tease and tantalize the bag...." Mike

I never saw Johnny perform live but when I first saw this routine I was absolutely floored. Twelve and a half minutes of non-stop engaging, masterfully performed, entertaining card perfection.https://www.magicana.com/video/johnny-thompson-gamblers-ballad-0 ♥️RIP He’d been at the top with the best of the lot. He had indeed.

OMG... I just read this on Michael Weber’s Twitter post. Another great one gone. So sad But his body of work was so robust, we will be talking about Johnny forever

Sad news indeed, another of the greats has left us... I have his DVD's and his Dai Vernon impression makes me laugh every time I see it.

Thanks for posting that interview. Good to see again. Las Vegas Review-Journal: Johnny Thompson, a Las Vegas magic legend, dies at 84 My favorite of the Tomsoni & Co. act recordings I've found online so far is this one, from Spanish TV in 1992: https://www.magicana.com/video/great-tomsoni-co-c1992

He is one of the "titans" of magic and it is sad to see him go. I saw him and Pam perform live once. They were absolutely enchanting. Some only knew Tomsoni & Co., but Johnny could do pretty much anything better than most, cards, coins, you name it.
