Hi Guys,

I found a great trick in the November 2015 issue of Genii magazine by the one and only, Harry Lorayne called, Royal-O-cation.

It's Harry's version of a Gordon Bean effect called, "Elimin-ACE-ion"

I slightly adjusted the handling at the beginning to lock in the "fact"(?) that we're dealing with the 10's. I explain why in the video.

Rudy,

Please don't apologize for putting videos up.  I love seeing them.  The more magic I see, the more inspired I become.  Keep up the good work my friend!

That performance was awesome, Rudy. I loved Harry's version of this the moment I read it. Even though I know the method, you still fooled me. Gonna go back, reread it and put it in. Just got a copy of Best of Friends 3. This trick and that book should have me busy and happy for a while. Thanks again, Rudy.

Thank you for the kind words! It's a really cool trick and just goes to show how well Harry can put together an effect that is both entertaining and fun to perform.

It really cracks me up when Mr. Lorayne says he "forgot" something.... I love you MAN!

Nice Rudy!

Point of order on poker - Any straight flush beats four of a kind i.e. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 of the same suit beats any four of a kind. Also, a royal flush is any ace high straight flush i.e. A, K, Q, J, 10 of the same suit (not necessarily spade).

Just pointing this out because a poker player would likely correct you and you don't want that to happen. You need to be the expert.

I think you're right about showing the 10s at the outset. I'm not familiar with the original from Genii but I'll check it out presently.

Keep up the great work, dude!

Mike
