I signed up but haven't received login details. I also sent your an email at the address on the site and haven't gotten a response.

I would have sent you a private message here, but you have that feature disabled. Please look into this and get back to me.

Thanks.

I just want to say that Kozmo's customer service is stellar. I made a typo which he found and was able to help me with.

Thank you Sir, all is well and right with the world again 😉

Hey Everyone
I would love to hear what you guys think about Reel Magic?

What can we do to make it better. Ar there any products that you would like us to carry on the Marketplace?

I think it's already GREAT!

It would be a difficult task to make what's already better...better. I love Reel Magic!!!

 Kozmo, since you asked...

An index would be a great addition. Yes, the Search function is fine, and if adding an index is a budget buster, I understand. After all, $5 a month is a reel bargain!

Note: This is not a complaint, merely a response to your question. From me, Reel Magic Magazine gets Two Thumbs Up, Five Stars, and a 100% rating. Honestly, along with Genii Magazine, Reel Magic Magazine are the best buys in magic today.

I agree and second AV’s index suggestion and at the same time second John Luka’s sentiment. #paradoxical

Having only been a member for a few days, am I really in a position to comment on what I think, Kozmo? Heck, yes! You did ask.
Reel Magic is remarkable. Even setting the incredibly priced membership aside, I don't see how anyone could ever have a bad word about it. I am currently like a kid in a candy store and find the whole thing quite mezmerising.
I personally don't think, for the price of the membership, there is any improvement needed.
I would love to see some bizzare /story telling magic featured, as I am interested in that genre of magic. And that's no complaint that I haven't seen any on Reel Magic but just a suggestion for possible future content.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, it would be beyond perfect if there was a way to locally cache some of the content in an encrypted, time-bound fashion to allow it to be watched offline, without being pirated, a la Netflix downloading option. This would help, for example, when I am on holiday..... I could take content with me. However, I realise that to make those kinds of changes would require a lot of time and money and impact the membership rate. So I'm more than happy as things stand.
In terms of the marketplace, as I live in the UK, physical products would be of little interest to me and so ebook content and the like would be what would have me browsing the store.
Overall, Reel Magic is as close to a perfect magic resource as it is possible to get, IMHO.
Lectures - Amazing.... The more the merrier.
TNT - Amazing..... The more the merrier.
Great customer service. Check.
Great value for money, Check.
Simply brilliant stuff. Thanks so much for making it available to us.

Quick edit.... I almost forgot.... The actual video magazine itself is tremendous! Great production and wonderful content.

So heres some things we're doing,. We are going to start loading another issue of Reel Magic on the site.....we're going to get Rudys Apocalypse Now going.
We have 3 lectures coming up.

Nate Kranzo
John Giuastafarro
And Doug Conn

We're also going to do Curtis Kam on Bobo....this is a huge project we've been working on for over 4 years.

Now there will be a season of TNT in there and it will take some time to get all this on the site BUT I promise that over the next months ahead there will be some great content.

AND we will see about an index. I know the site is huge....and an index would help with the overwhelming feeling the site creates 😉

we're working hard everyday to keep Reel Magic as the best bargain. in magic today!

I just received the newsletter email about the Apocalypse project Rudy is producing with Koz at Reel. Wow this is nice!

Six or so months ago I stopped subscribing (not just ReelMagic but to everything in my life). I'm signing up for Reel again. Right now. Looking forward to having something to look forward to.

Thanks Rudy and Koz!

Harry, there is no question that you are correct.  If you take the cost of your books and divide by the number of "workers" contained in them, the value is incredible.

I've said it here on this forum but it never ceases to amaze me that folks will shell out big bucks on a gimmicked box of mints that might end up in their drawer while if they had bought your book they'd have dozens of tricks at a few bucks a pop.

Talk about no-brainers.

QUESTION?

Is a separate subscription needed to see the lectures? If not, I have a problem.

Senor... if you click on  "On Demand Plus" on the top menu... that should take you to a screen full of images that are clickable -- one is "Lectures" -- are you not getting that?

So here is what happens,

I log into the site and click on the "on demand plus" at the top of the page. It takes me to a page with

Cellini: The Art of Street Performing
Cellini: King of the Streets
Live at the Jailhouse
Coins 101
Focus on Rings
Ring Thing: Polished
TNT: Tuesday Night Tricks
Lectures
Trio
The Hole Thing
Anniversary Waltz Project
Justin Miller: The Lost Tapes
Lecture Notes

I click on "Lectures" and am taken to a new screen with lectures from,

Boris Wild Live!
Carl Andrews Live!
Jon Armstrong Live!
Chris Capehart Live!
Doc Eason Live!
Cameron Francis Live!
Paul Green Live!
Kainoa Harbottle Live!
Karl Hein Live!
Joshua Jay Live!
Curtis Kam Live!
Jason Ladanye Live!
Losander Live!
Shoot Ogawa Live!
Garrett Thomas Live!
Diamond Jim Tyler Live!
Michael Vincent Live!

Now lets say I click on Kainoa Harbottle Live!, I get taken to a page with a pic in the upper left hand corner and below a description of what is suppose to be on the video.

Kainoa's Lecture includes:

The No Remorse Routine Performance

Misbehavin'
Tablehopper's Quattro
A Lesson in Coinjuring
EZ Miser

Misbehavin' Discussion

Four coins appear and disappear in a dizzying display of impossibility. Already a modular routine, Kainoa will perform additional sequences not included in the DVD.

Tablehopper's Quattro Explanation

Don't be a slave to your props! A routine that teaches the possibilities that coin magic has to offer.

Lesson in Coinjuring Explanation

Let's go over the edge: a discussion about the techniques and possibilities of Edge Grip.

EZ Miser Explanation

Want to look like you can do Misbehavin but only use ONE move? Then pay attention.

Victorian Coins and Glass Discussion

The upcoming release from KozmoMagic: Kainoa's closer for laypeople and magicians alike that plays for three people or three hundred.

Vamps and Ghosts

The easiest, multi-effect card trick you'll ever do that's also a giveaway AND leaves you with a complete deck. Perfect for Halloween or your next Goth convention.

Conforming Daley's Twins

Several classic packet tricks are interwoven to create a series of experiences for the audience. A great opener if you want to find out what sort of magic your audience really likes.

Homing Coins Performance and Explanation

What happens when you take a card plot and apply it to coins? An even better coin routine!

The Miser's Goblet Performance and Explanation

Kainoa's signature production of a multitude of coins and the dreaded Harbottle Steeplechase Discrepancy.

But no video plays. What's wrong?

It sounds like your browser isn't able to decode the video stream.
Try using a different browser.

Jose,

Try double-clicking on the tile (picture) you see in the upper left. That should open the lecture video for you. I've noticed this quirk on a couple of the lecture videos. Thing is, once  you double-click on any one of them, the problems seems to disappear for the rest...

Good luck,

It appears to be running fine on my Windows 10 Pro PC (using MS Edge or Chrome) and iPhone (using Safari). So it is not probably a browser problem IMHO.

Hey Koz

Sorry  it took so long for me to get back to you.

The issue seems to be my Firefox because the lecture videos play fine in Chrome. Interestingly enough the regular issues play  in FF just fine. Whatever?

Hey and thanks for posting your number. That's not something I would ever do on an open forum. So you're a better man than me.

Thanks.

I have been busy today and was out of pocket but when I got to my office and checked the Cafe I saw that I had a private message with a great advertisement for Apocalypse Now.

Very classy for them to do that.
