Steve passed away this morning.

I'm not sure how many will even know the name. He was one of the great creators of magic and a fine gentleman. Like so many, frequently ripped off.

R.I.P., my friend.

I had some of his items in my shop in the 90's and they were all excellent. He had one with a bulldog clip called HALF BACK where a penny changed into a half dollar when you let it go plus many other great effects. Sorry to hear the news.

Man, two in one day... I used to love his Wonderbar. It was a bit tricky to get the hang of, and I was never really very good with it, but I still loved the trick.

Steve was great. One of the most creative minds in magic.

I'm not sure about the penny into a half? I had one from him where a half dollar in a bulldog clip changed into 2 quarters. Very creative method.

Memories - I look on my shelf and see "Quarter Casket" (that name might be wrong), Ringer (again, I could be wrong about the name) - the best ring on key ring ever and Digital Dissolve from Theory 11 - the outgrowth of his original sliding shell.

All original creations and generally brilliant in conception.

There was a long period in which every time you went into a magic shop, got a flyer in the mail, or browsed a magic magazine there was some new item by Dusheck. He got ripped off so much that he quit releasing to the public.
I got to talk to him for quite a while at a convention once, very nice guy and incredibly creative.

I used to run into Steve at Mel's Magic City in Scranton PA. I loved his stuff (and still do). He had the friendliest disposition and was always thinking outside the box. I have Wonderbar, Ringer, Lethal Tender, Dancing Matilda and an absolutely genius coin/card gimmick that makes it possible to show the final coin in a coin matrix routine before it joins the other three.

I am saddened by this news. R.I.P. Steve...
