Hi Everyone,

I'm excited to let you know that we have an another lecture for the members of the Magician's Forum! Steve Reynolds has kindly offered to do another online video lecture for us on Saturday, February 18th at noon (Pacific)!!

If you've never heard of Steve or seen his magic you're in for a treat! Listen to what some great magicians have said about Steve:

"Steve Reynolds is one of the most creative and knowledgeable Cardician's I know." - Bill Malone

"Deceptive and absolutely incredible card magic." - Troy Hoosier

"I am a Steve Reynolds fan for two reasons: great methods and mind-blowing effects." - Allan Ackerman

"Steve Reynolds has a student's passion, a seeker's diligence, and an expert's attitude and touch." - Jon Racherbaumer

“The breadth of his material was wide, the thinking was deep, and the entertainment value was high…if all are fingers were thumbs, they would all be up.” - Lance Pierce

The cost of this LIVE lecture is just $5. As usual, you'll be able to watch this video via a private YouTube link after the event is over.

Here is the link to register for Steve's lecturehttps://goo.gl/qtpEk3

I'd encourage you to visit his website to learn more about his magic: http://www.stevereynoldsmagic.com

I'm very grateful to both Steve (and Trini) for making this event possible! You won't want to miss it!

Rudy

p.s. We'll be having another lecture on March 4th by Steve Dobson!! Stay tuned for more details.

Steve was incredibly generous in his first Magician's Forum lecture. Since that time, I believe he has been busking around the country. I'm sure he will have plenty of new strategy and inspiration to share!

Steve lectured here in Kingston a year ago (or thereabouts).  His lecture was great - signing up for this TMF lecture is an instant YES.

I believe this falls on the same day as the book club session so unfortunately I won't be able to watch it live but I look forward to watching the taping of it.  I really enjoyed Steve's first lecture.  His Penguin lecture was also fantastic and I'm sure this one will be too.

Hey Everyone,

Thanks to Luis for bringing this to my attention. I have been house sitting/sort of having a vacation away from my house and I haven't been as active on the boards so I missed this.

I will be postponing the book club until either the following Saturday (the 25th) or Saturday, March 3rd. I will talk with Rudy and get the details squared away. Personally, I really want to see Steve's lecture and his time is more important than our book which can wait. I don't want to divert attention away from all the work Rudy is doing to bring the lecture to us.

PM me with any questions!

Thank you and I look forward to the lecture!!!

-Ben

Hi Ben, thank you so much for your willingness to flex on the book club session. I apologize for not taking that into consideration when we planned Steve's lecture.

Hey TMF,
Just wanted to drop in and say how excited I am for this upcoming lecture. I have seen the material he is going to be presenting, and I tell you what... It's AWESOME stuff!!!! You definitely do not want to miss this one. Also, Steve urges everyone to interact by asking questions. If you have a question(s) in mind, you can post them here, or you can ask during the lecture. I would suggest to post them here, and when he gets to them during the lecture, you can ask follow up questions if you have any.

Steve now only has mad chops, but is also a wealth of knowledge. He is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to Marlo, as many of you who have watched his Marlo Mondays can attest to. He has also gained a lot of working experience over the years, and is more than willing to share anything with us. All you have to do is ask. [wink]

So, if you have not yet registered, I strongly urge you to do so very soon. Oh and.... you have to do me a huge favor during the lecture...

Wait... you must return here tomorrow before the lecture to see what that favor is. Anyway, I sure do hope to see many of you there.

Best,
Trini

Thanks for chiming in, Trini. I'm looking forward to this lecture too!

For the rest of you, there's still time to register!

It's just five bucks! After the lecture is over the recording will still be available for purchase, but the price goes up to $10.

Here's the link to sign up: https://goo.gl/qtpEk3

See you soon!

Rudy

Ok, so, the favor is....
To ask Steve if he can do a sandwich trick. LOL The reason this is funny is because he is tired of me doing them everytime we have a session.

See you online.

Just saw the terrific lecture by Steve Reynolds.  Makes me wish his first one was recorded, too.  There was so much material in this one.  His segment on false table shuffles was amazing all by itself!  Thank you, Steve!  Thank you, Trini.  And thank you Rudy for once again bringing another terrific session to TMF.

All the best,

Hello Forum Members! Although accolades for the Steve Reynolds lecture have already been stated in this thread, I simply cannot resist mentioning what a value it was to be part of it. Not only did the lecture run without a hitch, Rudy moderated everything with his usual professionalism, and Steve tipped a few "underground" ideas regarding shuffling that were nothing less than game-changing. His last routine was really a COMPLETE act -- I'm sure we'll all have awesome material to study for quite some time. Greeat job Steve, fellow attendees (always asking just the right questions), and Rudy for setting this up! I've said this before, but these lectures are one of the very best features of this Forum -- don't miss the next one! johnny

Me too, I just have seen Steves lecture and it was really terrific. The shuffling / false shuffling segment with comments on the zarrow shuffle, strip out was really brilliant as were the presented routines, the 4795-routine with use of the faro and Steves combination of  Jennings Travellers and a Marlo routine will go to my repertoire. That was really a great evening! Thank you Steve, Rudy and Trini for this great evening, that was really  a lot of fun !

Thank you all for the kind and encouraging feedback! I'm so glad to hear that you found it worth the price of admission.

I'm confident that our next lecture will be just as excellent!

Worth the price of admission!?! It was worth at least 10x that! Fabulous. Z will be the next thing I get without doubt and the Audience First won't be far behind. (I promise after that, I'll join Chi Han in his resolution.)

Steve, thanks so much for that lecture. If signing up for Audience first for the annual subscription are we able to access the previous sessions you've done. Or alternatively can we individually purchase the recordings of  the other Audience First sessions?

Thanks again.
Gareth

....You and Trini should tour as a comedy duo.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to echo what has already been said. This was a no brainer lecture for me and it truly was fantastic. Being able to interact with Steve was great and I haven't been so fooled in a long time (I am referring to one of his table shuffles), that alone was such a great gift. It is so rare to be completely fried by anything these days and when he finally showed what he was doing I was still just in shock. Crazy good stuff.

I just purchased Z. and will be taking a look at it soon. I am super stoked on the whole thing.

Thanks again Steve and Rudy!

Steve's 2nd lecture was just as great as his first one and all the other ones we have had this year on TMF! If you did not see it, what are you waiting for? Go and buy it! Rudy just posted the link to buy it. And don't miss the following lectures if possible! You do not know what you are missing if you don't watch them...

Thanks Steve, Rudy and Trini!

Gotta go and watch it again...

And boy oh boy! Am I glad I asked for a faro effect!!!
