Today I saw a funny greeting card which read:  “Marriage is like a deck of cards.  In the beginning all you need is two hearts and a diamond.  By the end, you wish you had a club and a spade.”

Seems to be crying out for a card routine … perhaps using the Elmsley Count?

Uhhhhh....there's that trick, and I don't know the name bit it's usually done with four aces.

Cards are face down. You turn a red ace face up then turn it back down and place it on the spectator's hand. Do the same with the second red ace. A little magic and the spectator now had the black aces. The red aces are in your hand.

You could start off without showing the faces. You show the 2 of hearts and ace of diamonds and switch it for the ace of clubs and spades.

Still don't know the name of the trick. David Blkaine did it on one of his specials.

There's Bro. Hamman's The Twins. Might be able to adjust the handling. I'd have to play around with it, but it seems possible.
