This notice is made in accordance with the National Talent and Magic Safety Act. Certain model year Egg Bags fail to conform to Federal Egg Bag Safety Standard (FEBSS) No. 577277 “Audience Bash Protection.”
Multiple Models and styles.
Mesh Egg Bags are excluded as the mesh provides ample safety netting.
Affected Egg Bags were sewn with a pocket/seam combination that was not approved for market. In the event of a seam failure, the Egg Bag may not perform as required by regulations, which may increase the risk of injury.
The stitching in the Egg Bag could degrade over time and cause the seams to fail, causing the duck decoy egg to fly from the bag, striking the performer or audience members. Warning: Front row may get splinters.
To correct this and, at the same time, address the Takata Egg Bag issue, your authorized Magic dealer will replace the entire Egg Bag and the wooden egg. Just return the bag to its outside in position and place the egg inside the outside and return. Return again.
