No, I'm not joking.  I work in mental health as well as performing magic and juggling.  There was a patient at the hospital who is completely blind.  He heard that I perform magic and offered to show me a trick.  His trick was a simple location effect where he was counting the cards to keep track of where they were at, as well as using a deck of braille cards.  He fooled the hell out of people though because they didn't expect him to be able to actually do a trick so they didn't really look for a method.  I talked with him for a while and decided to help enhance his abilities by teaching him the double undercut and a few other subterfuges to make his controls look good.

I taught him how to place the chosen card at a known location from the bottom of the deck, make it look like he mixes the cards then do the bit that you normally do with a key card where you deal past the card and then declare the next card you turn over will be their card and of course turn over the selected card that you dealt already.  Classic trick that gets a good reaction, right?  Well imagine seeing a BLIND man do that trick!  People were starting to question whether he was actually blind.  Needless to say it did my reputation good for it to be known that I taught such a trick to a blind person.

Teaching him was difficult as you can imagine, I went over the procedure with him many times and would physically place his fingers in the correct places.  He was persistent and practiced that trick for several hours before showing anyone, always checking with me to make sure he was doing it right.  Of course it didn't hurt that he was using the braille cards as well and reading them in a subtle way as he returned the card to the deck.

It was worth every moment that it took to teach him to see the reactions that he got.

Teach him the basic PM Principle without the mem deck. There are two keys that he can feel (punched cards). It's a killer effect and he's perfect for it. It can be done blindfolded. Or by a blind person!
