There are easy, intermediate and advanced tricks within its pages. I bought it just for the Eerie Spin-Out and still haven't mastered it. It's a Lorayne book so I would get it before it's too late and it is out of print.

You can try here:

If you add 40$ to the above you can get It as part of Harry Lorayne’s Classic Collection vol.4, which includes his Magic Book and David Regal’s Start Quality book. Ad copy states updates exist though not sure how much:

I don’t own it so can’t comment. I own his most recent book Relaxed Impossibilities, and it’s interesting.

I do own the book and can tell you it is more than worth it.  It has the typical Harry Lorayne commentary about the effects and the sleights, which I find fun to read and very educational.  There is work on a variety of plots, but some seminal sleights are discussed.  The Mechanical Reverse is something that I've found very useful over the years.  Also, there is discussion on the double lift, including a no get-ready lift that can be used for small groups that is excellent.

I also found a nice handling for bottom dealing in there.  Most probably don't pay much attention to it, but it is a nice method for those that use it sparingly but want to use it without years of practice.

There is a lot of gold in the book.  If you are serious about card magic, it is one of the books you should have.

I paged through the book again last night.  What a great book!  254 pages of useful sleights and routines.  The bottom deal I referenced is the 'Thumb-Grip Bottom Deal'.  Very disarming!

There are also one card passes (which I use quite a bit) and thoughts on 'Tilt', including a 'Center Tilt' and a 'Front Tilt'.  Talk about back to the future, I believe the initial concept was Victor's Depth Illusion and happened at the front of the pack.

Here is a comprehensive list of the contents.  Talk about value!

Been holding aside a copy of L:TCC vol. 4 - which contains The Card Classics of Ken Krenzel, plus a couple of other books for JoshP. But...can't keep it aside much longer - running out of copies.  Doubt if he really cares.

Harry,

No offense, but I never said I was interested in buying vol 4 in the first place. I was asking a simple question as it pertained to a single book.

Medifro made a suggestion.

I wasn't really looking for the other books included in vol 4. Not to mention that I already have The Magic Book as a singular copy.

And it is way past my budget for those classic collection books at the moment.

Don't get me wrong Harry, I appreciate the sentiment.

But I'm just not interested at this time.

Thanks anyway though.

Josh
