He's likely referring to Ganson's  The Magic of Slydini, don't you think?

The Magic of Slydini by Ganson only has one card trick in it, The Helicopter Card. It is an extensive description. Eleven pages with five full pages of pictures.

If memory serves, Karl Fulves published a couple of big Slydini books back in the 70s.

I recall Fulves having something to say about the books somewhere in "Pallbearers." Busy with gigs at the moment, but when/if I get a spare week or two I'll have a look.

The title "Slydini Encores" rings a distant bell too, but this was not the Fulves stuff.

Fulves put out two sets of  books of Slydini's magic. Each set had one text and the other pictures.   Slydini Encores is an older book thinking the 60's.  Ganson put a book out on Slydidi's magic also, which was later annotated by a friend of Slydini's.
Bill Wisch was a student of Slydini's and is a good source for his work.

There were rumors for years that when Slydini was in Europe someone took a lot of film of him performing and explaining his magic. I actually asked him about it, and he started talking about the Fulves book.   Come to find out, Slydini didn't want those films known about or released until after his death.  Then it was reported that the films were destroyed in a fire.  Now, within the last few months, it's said that there were video tape back ups of the films.  Supposedly Tamariz now has them and is having them worked on and edited for release.

Here are pics of my books. I was probably 14 when my father bought them for me. We were far from wealthy and his investment in these books for me was a testament for the pride he felt in my pursuit of magic.

I fondly remember him driving me to Gene Devoe's Magic Den on a Saturday to get them.

I later had them signed by Slydini at a convention where he performed and lectured. The books are first edition, dated 1976.

Notice the numerous photos of the helicopter trick. So much of Slydini's success was based upon exacting physical attitudes, postures, etc.

Ray, that's beautiful!
You have a treasure!
Thanks for showing it.

The book was edited the year I was born.
A stupid remark, but I couldn't resist to say that.

Mariano Goñi, a magician from Spain has shared the following video on Youtube.
It is Tony Slydini performing in Spanish:
