...not seeing much news on this, but Gregory Wilson recently suffered a pretty significant heart attack. Reports indicate that it will be a long and slow recovery. Gregory, however, has no plans to cancel upcoming lecture dates.

Wow. I did not hear about this. Hope he recovers well. He is a trooper for not canceling anything as of now!

I'm so sorry to hear about this. You can bet that I'll be saying a prayer for him.

Thanks for letting us know, Dan.

Looks like his lecture stop scheduled for Atlanta this week (1 February) has been postponed. Sounds like the right thing to do - Depending on the severity of his heart attack he needs recovery time to heal before hitting the road. Even though I had planned to drive up for the event and was even looking forward to Atlanta traffic, I am more than happy to wait till he is better.

Get well soonest, Gregory!

Anthony, I'm not sure of time frames here, but Scott Wells, who booked the lecture, I believe, is reporting that Gregory got the go ahead from his Dr. to do the tour as planned. He will be limited to carrying only 10 pounds for a couple of weeks.

Apparently, the heart attack was serious, but the angioplasty was a success.

As I said, not sure which news is freshest, but it's probably worth checking.

I hear you, Intensely Magic. According to the Georgia Magic Club FB page, the lecture scheduled at Ring 9 for 1 February was officially postponed this week. Last update was two days ago by Debbie Leifer. I am not a member of Ring 9, but am a member of the FB page and had planned on attending the lecture. If you hear anything different, please let me know.

Thanks.

As of this morning, he intends to start the tour next Tuesday, 2/6 at MidWest Magic in the Chicago suburbs.

Greg has been a good friend and mentor for 30 years.

I just got off the phone with him. He sounds strong and smart-assy as ever. Greg's girlfriend is nursing him back to 100%--though she nearly gave ME a heart attack when I first saw her! He is shipping products today and prepping for Midwest Magic.

Despite this shot across his bow, Greg is one of the healthiest guys I know. He keeps fit and eats clean. Even so, genes will go to great lengths to illustrate how cruel they can be.

I let him know how much love he is getting here on the forum. He keeps teasing the possibility of a TMF web lecture. Anyone interested?

Man, I'd love to have him do a lecture for us!!!

Rudy, Greg is anxious to learn about webcasting. I told him you are the man to talk to... and that a TMF lecture from his studio would be the thing to do.
His experience with other forums has not been entirely pleasant... so he is wary. But, we gonna get him!

That's great, Steve! I'd love to talk more about it. Maybe I should take a trip down there to meet with you fellas.

Thanks for helping us get connected. It would be great to work with him.

Greg joined my lecture tour in 2015. He was one of the most personable and gracious lecturers that I have ever dealt with. I would love to see him lecture for this forum. He is a class act, for sure!
