I found this video posted on another forum.  I don't know if it has been posted here but it is definitely worth watching.

Enjoy.

I am a fan of Richard Wiseman's. His work is fascinating, at least to me. And his book, Quirkology, is a great read for anyone interested in human psychology and neurology. The fact that he's also a magician is icing on the cake in the hat.

AV, I looked at a video of his Floating Cork.  Not the way Fred Kaps did it, is it?

Which book is this in?

As Chico says, "You can't fool me."

I saw all the changes.

Mind you I did see the video several years ago.....

One thing I also noticed was the gorilla, a feature of another of Wiseman's  videos.

I think they can all be found here and there on YouTube.

Thanks Ray for the reminder.

"Quirkology" is a good/fun read. I've read a few a his efforts.

I only know of his channel.  He does the performance of the floating cork and then shows how it was done.  Fun times.

I'm hoping that people watch it with no preconceived notions of what to expect.  If done that way, the results are pretty awesome.

Yes they are. Much like all well-performed Magic. Even when you've seen it before, and maybe know the "secret," it's still something.

Dai Vernon said once:

“Magic makes you more observant than an ordinary person.”

Maybe that's why you saw all the changes.
I watched that vid long time ago too and catched SOME changes, but not all of them.
It was quite impressive. It was a true lesson of how the mind can be "misdirect."
