This is one of those tricks that you want all for yourself. It's called "Whooper" and t's on a DVD that didn't seem to get a lot of attention in spite of the fact that it was directed by the same man who directed David Stone's DVD's.

Anyway, let's be glad for that because there is a trick on Yannick Chretien's DVD that is absolutely amazing and seemingly impossible.

Here's what it looks like and I promise you that this is exactly how it appears to the spectator.

I think it resembles mix of elements from One-Eyed Jack Sandwich (Harry Lorayne) and The Signed Card (Bro. John Hamman). Not identical, by any means, but reminiscent.

That's a good observation, James. The benefit of Harry's "One-Eyed Jack Sandwich" is that it can be performed with any borrowed and shuffled deck.

I can't say the same thing for "Whooper".

It's still a heckuva trick though.

Very nice handling. Rudy. The effect reminded me of Andrew Normansell's "Club Sandwich" which he used to sell around 15 years ago before selling the rights to Mark Mason. Not identical but you can see the similarities:

I most definitely see the similarities. I've never heard of this particular effect before, but Mark Mason comes up with some ingenious stuff.

Thanks for bringing this version to my attention.

Great trick! I kept trying to slow down the video to catch the switch and couldn't... you win this time, Rudy. [thumb]
